One of the leading mid-eighties thrash metal acts Artillery are back. Their comeback album displays ten tracks of raw genuine mid-eighties power that picks up exactly where Artillery left over a decade ago. Listening to B.A.C.K it's not at all hard to imagine why Artillery gained such widespread recognition. Flemming Rønsdorf’s characteristic vocals combined with the skilled guitar and bass performances by the Stützer brothers is what make up the very soul of Artillery. If you wanna know where bands like The Haunted and At The Gates got their inspiration from you gotta go get B.A.C.K. right now.

IRONLUNG
CHASING SALVATION
Ironlung consists of members of the original line-up of the band Social Disease, busting out of the Long Island NY hardcore scene back in 1986. It was a blistery winter night in 1996 when Josh Bahron (also in Suffocation, Autopsy), Steve Seigerman (also in Welt) and Frank Maggio encountered an inebriated former Social Disease vocalist Mr. Bush (also ex-Welt) in a notorius Manhattan strip club to tell him about the new band, and that they were jamming again. The rest is history, and Ironlung's splendid 8-track retro metal/rock album Chasing Salvation is part of that history.

PCD47 - 1999
GROPE
INTERCOOLER
Intercooler displays a great variety of very catchy songs. According to guitarist, Tue Madsen, the new style is best described as Soul with distortion. Gone are the distorted vocals and the mean look on their faces. Instead Grope have resurrected as an outfit who's main purpose is to make good catchy tunes and have fun doing so. Said to be the comfy armchair in today's heavy metal music. Mixed by John Custer (C.O.C., DAG, Cry Of Love) in the famous Jag Studio (Raleigh NC, USA).

N.A.O.P.
FULL CONTACT
Dutch oldschool hardcore act N.A.O.P. (Noisy Act Of Protest) has more than 10 years of existence. Their third full-length was recorded at Studio Moscow (NL), produced by Tue Madsen. This is oldschool in a very refreshing way: Exploited meets Nuclear Assault.

PCD52 - 2000
FREEBASE
NOTHING TO REGRET
From the UK come Freebase. Simply just an awesome riff-soaked hardcore band with a strong fanbase and a massive underground appeal. One of the most interesting hardcore newcommers Europe produced in a long time. European Tour with Backfire and Hard Resistance in April and May 1999.
...with bucketloads of crushingly powerful, old school mega-riffing combining with bruising, punk-edged attitude. This is an extremely confident debut, fulfilling Freebase's promise. One to rush home with and play on repeat while you practice your pit moves!
9/10 Metal Hammer (UK)

PCD53 - 2002
BARCODE
HARDCORE
Originally, the new album was scheduled for a late 2000/early 2001 release. However, massive bass & drum difficulties forced them to drop touring and songwriting and instead focus on auditioning bass and drum candidates. But the wait was worthwile: With new bass player, Snik1, and new drummer, Snick2, the unit became stronger than ever. Hardcore was Barcode's last release under the Diehard rooster, and was released in January 2002 on both CD and Vinyl. Since then the band have signed to Nuclear Blast Records.

PCD53LP - 2002
BARCODE
HARDCORE , LP

HIT THE CEILING
Great hardcore band from Berlin/Germany. Sort of Earth Crisic style but with no political or musical limitations whatsoever!

PCD55 - 2001
ILLDISPOSED
KOKAIINUM
In the early 1990's Illdisposed spearheaded the Danish death metal invasion, cementing their position with television appearances and an electrifying performance at the Roskilde Festival in 1998. Illdisposed's new album, "Kokaiinum", is an astounding release combining aggressive subwoofer vocals with groovy, melodic yet constantly hard-hitting music. "Kokaiinum" is much
more than just another death metal album.
THE DANISH DEATH METAL HOOLIGANS ARE BACK!

PCD56
KONKHRA
BEST OF...

T.B.A.

PCD57 - 2000
DOMINUS
GODFALLOS
Godfallos is a mix between the previous three Dominus albums. Compared to earlier material some changes have been made in terms of more catchy choruses and generally more melodic hooklines. None too radical changes though. Dominus still kick ass and thank God the new material can't exactly be classified as “radio friendly”. "State-of-the-art death metal... check out their 'masterful' third album" KERRANG! (UK) KKKKKK

PCD58 - 2003
GURD
ENCOUNTER
No mercy! No compromise! Swiss metallers Gurd have released their sixth album. Encounter is a crushing listening experience combining musical brutality and acidic lyrics. The perfect mix of heaviness and intelligence!
„It’s METAL, plain and simple" says lead vocalist and guitarist V.O., describing Gurd’s music.
„There are guitars, drums, bass and screams and the musical range goes from thrash to groove metal, but in the end it’s all heavy metal…”

PCD59 - 2002
THORIUM
UNLEASHING THE DEMONS
"...raw, violent pupil-peeling death metal to slaughter your loved ones to" Metal Maniacs (USA).
"...listen to Unleashing The Demons when pissed. They must have been when they recorded it!" Terrorizer (UK).

PCD61 - 2001
2TON PREDATOR
BOOGIE
Sweden's 2 Ton Predator have the musical power of an amok running rhinoceros and the killer instinct of a great white shark. Their new album "Boogie" (=Devil) is a varacious attack that will leave deep bite marks on the metal crowd!

PCD62 - 2002
FREEBASE
MY LIFE, MY RULES
The songs on My Life My Rules are a constant high level of forward pushing and moshing old school hardcore that should be appealing to people who love Madball, Barcode and similar bands.
Their lyrics are thankfully not just about beers and chicks, but they attack real problems with an anger that takes you by the throat.
An uncompromising band from England, not New York.

PCD63 - 2003
2TON PREDATOR
DEMON DEALER
The third attack by the Swedish power groove predator. Believe it or not, the 2Ton Predator has gained weight and the beast has become faster and more voracious lately. 2Ton Predator is the musical equivalent to being knocked out by a blow from Godzilla’s tail! " ... a feral, mean, uncompromising album of Swedish hardcore-deathmetal excellence" Jackal Blaster (USA) - "If you are into the Swedish scene, then this is an album that you should get." 10/10 Metal-guide.com (D)
